Who is a Christian steward?
One who receives God's gifts gratefully,
cherishes and tends them in a responsible
and accountable manner, shares
them in justice and love with all, and
returns them with increase to the Lord.

For disciples of Christ - everyone who
responds to Jesus' invitation, "Come, follow me"-
Christian stewardship is an obligation, not an option.

Stewardship is a way of life, a way of
thanking God for all His blessings by
returning a portion of the time, talent,
and treasure allotted us.

The Office of Mission Advancement is committed to assisting the parish, the school and campus ministry by raising the financial resources necessary to support the programs and ministries that comprise our community of faith. It is the objective of the Mission Advancement office to provide the appropriate giving opportunities that match the physical and spiritual needs of the parish with those of our benefactors.

CONNECTION TO CAMPUS MINISTRY

In 1991, to accommodate the expanding Campus Ministry Program, Bishop Edward Head united the Newman Center of the University of Buffalo and St. Joseph Parish. The consolidation of these two entities better utilizes our resources, strengthens our parish programs and provides opportunities for student involvement in parish life. Furthermore, this integration of various ages, cultures and backgrounds has enriched the parish community and has created a new sense of commitment and involvement in the ministry.
